IT Project Management – Role Overview

As an IT Project Manager at Vidoori, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of business-critical technology projects. Working directly with stakeholders, technical teams, and business analysts, you will ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities – IT Project Manager

• Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects, from initiation and requirements gathering through to implementation and post-launch review.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal staff, third-party vendors, and client stakeholders, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Apply best practices in project governance, change management, and quality assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Monitor and report project progress, using appropriate tools and performance metrics to ensure transparency and control.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences—including executives and end users—tailoring information as needed.
• Champion a collaborative, inclusive culture, resolving conflicts and fostering continuous improvement across project teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that deliverables align with business objectives and compliance requirements.

Essential Skills and Experience for IT Project Delivery

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of demonstrable experience managing mid-to-large scale IT projects in a professional environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or hybrid) and project tools (such as Jira, MS Project, or equivalent).
• Proven track record in delivering software, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects on time and within budget.
• Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in leading meetings, workshops, and status updates.
• Solid understanding of risk management, change control, and project governance processes.
• Professional project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Eligibility to obtain and hold a Public Trust clearance may be required, depending on client engagements.
